Be Carefull with Payoneer Mastercard Prepaid Service

ImageIm a frustrated client with this company and i want to tell my little story about how this awfull service works

I am a webdesigner who recives most of his payments around the world with paypal, so this information is important for the people who are outside US and want to transfer money from paypal to payoneer master card.

Everythings starts looking very nice. you ask for your card, then you recive it by mail. Everything goes well until you want to start using the card. so the first thing they say you should request a Us Payment Service if you want to use Paypal or other companys to transfer money. so they start asking you financial information, id – passaport documents and you enter in a laps called being reviewed.

In my case Us Payment Aprovall taked more than 1 month and a half

but imediatly you start reciving emails saying, now you can use your card, pls activate your card, pls fill it with money. well i did a 50 USD transfer for paypal, and once the payment was in the card i saw the balance account 11 USD. and i thought to my self ok no problem is the activation fee… but men that was fast! 2 or 3 days from paypal to my card.

thats when i did my big mistake, send from paypal 460 USD. the money arrives the 16 of february from paypal to them and it takes until the 19 to apear in the platform. until that moment i was optimist. but then i little icon your payment is waiting for aproval

A payment for approval? Do a bank needs to aprove my money? Do some guy have to investigate a payment made from my paypal to my card account?

The answer is yes, there is some guy who approves payments, and there is another guy who recive documents and aprove you for reciving money or not. im not in that group of us citizens who can recive a payment! even if i made it myself!, at this moment i was mad but mad as hell, so i decided to chat with some one.

Andres: i need to access my money and never use again this card, this is a waste of time and effort i been waiting for an aproval of US payments more than a month ago, i recived an email saying welcome to us payment

Oriana: i am sorry you feel this way.

Andres: then i deposit money, then the result is that i dont have that aproval

Andres: and i have 450 usd there that i cant touch

Oriana: wait, i see your US Payment Service is approved

Andres: well oriana pls look whats happening to me

Oriana: what do you mean it didn’t get approved?

Andres: i recived this email

Andres: but it was aproved and then canceled?

Andres: cuz you said it was aproved

Oriana: your payment for 460$ is under review

Andres: from a payment comming from paypal?

Oriana: so they will contact you regarding this payment within 1-2 business days

Andres: what can be reviewd about it

Andres: so in the end i have my reasons to be this way

Andres: what will happen with that money then?

Oriana: if we will approve it, the money will go to your card

Andres: that money have been on hold all week!

Oriana: if not, the money will go back where it came from

Andres: oriana im sorry

Andres: but i will tell this hole history to people, this is really very confusing

Andres: a lot of people from my country is intrested in your product

Andres: to recive payments from paypal

Oriana: sir i am very sorry to hear you are upset

Andres: im like the most adapt person to recive us payment aproval

Andres: im a web designer

Andres: all my job is there

Oriana: you just need to wait a few days and you will be contacted

Andres: what i cant understand is all this time spent

Andres: all this confusing emails i recive

Andres: and then all the time you have my moeny on hold

Oriana: sir the money was received two days ago

Andres: k i understand is not going to change nothing talkig to you

Oriana: no sir, you just need to wait

This is a screnshot of my balance after the chat, i cundt do anything on there just wait, and the guy who didnt liked my name cancelled the payment, so they had my money from 16 of feb to 21 locked. and now the question where is it going to be back to paypal?

Andres: so a customer cant know why he cant recive a payment from himself

Andres: and why he has been forced to wait responses of people wile a bank blocks its money?

Ariel: I understand why you are frustrated, but unfortunately the reason for the decline is unavailable

Andres: im asking this question because a lot of people in my country may be intrested in your service, but im going to put all this conversations on a blog to let people know what sort of problems they will have, if they are not us citzens

Andres: aparenty law doesnt apply here

Andres: cuz if is a finacial service

Andres: and you have my money for sure law will protect me

Andres: yes but i want to know why the payment is rejected

  1. Hermano. Estoy pasando por algo similar. ¿En qué fue a parar lo tuyo? Aún yo estoy esperando que caiga mi dinero de vuelta en mi cuenta Paypal y no sé qué hacer. Gracias por postear esto.

  2. they are unbelievable, for example i needed to reset my password and forgot one of my security questions, they asked me to receive a payment from a US payment service before my issue can be heard. These guys and Skrill are the worst financial companies on the planet. i hope we get a payoneer alternative soon. they suck!!
